The report was built on the previous editions to analyse the NewSpace industry across the continent, industry dynamics, trends and opportunities.

Most downstream companies are domiciled in Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, and South Africa. The majority of the upstream companies are domiciled in South Africa. About 44% of the downstream companies surveyed are in the growth stage of their development, while 47% are in the maturity stage of their development.

The African Space industry has political, economic, and security opportunities; some of the companies surveyed compete in the global space market. Increasing government budget, ecosystem development, investment opportunities as well as digital expansion are some factors contributing to the rise of the commercial space ecosystem in Africa.
