YahClick Signs a Six-Year Strategic Partnership Agreement with Canar Telecommunication

YahClick, a high-performance satellite broadband service and a subsidiary of  Al Yah Satellite Communications Company P.J.S.C. (Yahsat), UAE, signed a USD 15 million six-year strategic partnership agreement with Canar Telecommunication Co. Ltd, Sudan, to bolster its services and presence in Africa. The partnership details were first released via a press release by YahClick.

The signing ceremony was attended by Ali Al Hashemi, Yahsat Group Chief Executive Officer; Sulaiman Al Ali, Chief Executive Officer of YahClick & Thuraya; Abdalla Saeed, Chief Executive Officer of Canar Telecommunication Co. Ltd and David Garjang, Chief Commercial Officer of Canar Telecommunication Co. Ltd in Yahsat’s headquarters, Abu Dhabi.

The agreement ensures Canar Telecommunications Co. Ltd will be one of YahClick’s largest broadband satellite service providers in the region and support reliable and swift internet connectivity for communities and businesses across Sudan. In addition, the agreement ensures Canar Telecommunications Co. Ltd improves its quality and promotes a high-performance network and availability of its services. 

Furthermore, the agreement collaborates with Canar Telecommunications Co. Ltd and the Sudanese government’s digitalisation goals and augments connectivity in the region. The broadband services will be enabled through Hughes’ award-winning Jupiter platform to deliver top-notch connectivity for end users.

From the agreement’s benefits, Canar Telecommunications Co. Ltd plans to strengthen broadband connectivity across the government’s e-programmes, reinvigorate the country’s financial sector, and support entrepreneurs by digitally empowering their businesses by providing access to cost-effective internet services.
