Watch the launch of EgyptSAT-A

EgyptSAT-A, a satellite built to replace Egyptsat 2 was jointly built by Egypt’s National Authority for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences together with RKK Energiya in Russia.

A Soyoz Roccket will be launching the earth-observation satellite today – it will become the 31st satellite to be launched by an African Nation. Watch Video below – Launch time is 16:47 GMT.
