Ukraine Ambassador Visits EGSA; Discuss Partnership

Ukraine Ambassador to Egypt, receiving the EgSA Shield
The Vice President of Ukraine’s Office for International Relations and the Ambassador of Ukraine in Cairo, Ihore Yovkva, has visited the Egyptian Space Agency on a solidarity and partnership visit.
Receiving the Ukrainian delegation was Dr Mohamed Al-Quosi, CEO of the Egyptian Space Agency, and Dr Mohamed Iraqi, the Executive Vice-President of the Egyptian Space Agency. The Ukrainian delegation was led by Ambassador Ihore Yovkva; Mr Evheni Yenin, Deputy Foreign Minister; Mr Taras Kachka, Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture.
During the visit, the delegation checked and appraised the various projects ongoing at the agency. Dr Al-Quosi gave the visitors a tour of the agency, explaining the various departments of the building and ongoing projects of the agency.
Dr Al-Quosy talked about strengthening the relations and cooperation between Egypt and Ukraine, observing the common interests of the peaceful use of space between the Egyptian Space Agency and the Ukrainian Space Agency, and bilateral cooperation in space activities that would promote development in social and economic aspects for both countries.
The Ambassador of Ukraine expressed his happiness after exploring the Egyptian Space Agency, while also admonishing the cooperation between Egypt and Ukraine. He emphasized renewed cooperation between the Egyptian Space Agency and the Ukrainian Space Agency.
While speaking, the ambassador added that both countries will be working on a new MoU soon, towards amplifying the relations between the countries.
