SGAC hosts World Space Week in Sudan

The Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC) in partnership with Space Research Centre, University of Khartoum and World Space Week Association is organizing the World Space Week in Khartoum, Sudan at the University of Khartoum, Faculty of Engineering Alturabi Conference Room on Wednesday, 10th of October,2018 (1:00 – 6:00 pm GMT+2)

The goals and objectives of the event are to promote the Space science and technology and the international events, promote the activities of the SGAC, provide an event to attract space enthusiastic, introduce some historical and background topics about the emerging entities of Space sector, introduce the SGAC to the audience and the activities it is carrying, gather feedback and suggestions from the attendees and make new connections.

Activities such as various sessions about the historical events in Space sector (NASA establishment and how it emerged), the complexity of Space projects and the current status of Cubesat in Africa. In addition to an interactive session with the audience, visit to the university ground station, illustration of a CanSat, and a documentary movie.

Registrations for the event opens on Sunday 7th of October, 2018.
