During their discussions, both parties deliberated on a wide range of potential initiatives to address the pressing challenges posed by climate change. This collaboration could encompass areas such as satellite technology utilisation, remote sensing, data analysis, and climate monitoring, among other innovative approaches. These joint efforts are envisioned to not only benefit Rwanda but also contribute to the broader global efforts to combat climate change. Furthermore, the meeting also emphasised the importance of knowledge exchange, capacity building, and the sharing of best practices between Rwanda and European counterparts in the space sector. Such exchanges of expertise and technology can significantly empower both regions to effectively mitigate the adverse impacts of climate change, which have become a global priority.
