Dr Emmanuel Nkurunziza, the Director-General of the Regional Centre for Mapping of Resources for Development (RCMRD), and Dr El-Hadi Gashut, the Director General of the Regional Center for Remote Sensing of North Africa States (CRTEAN), have signed a memorandum of understanding today to promote collaboration on geospatial projects and training.
This partnership aims to avail new opportunities that will benefit both institutions through training in space sciences, geospatial sciences, and projects related to space science applications and remote sensing technologies like surveying and GIS applications.
