Benya Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with OneWeb and the joint venture organisation formed by OneWeb and NEOM to explore the distribution of connection services in the Middle East Africa (MEA) region.
The signing of the MoU agreement between Benya Group, the leading digital solutions and ICT infrastructure provider in Egypt and the MEA Region, and OneWeb NEOM joint venture (JV), a joint venture formed by OneWeb and NEOM in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, was held at the World Trade Centre in Dubai during the three-day 2022 CABSAT.
The agreement, which took place on May 19, the last day of CABSAT, the largest annual event for creative, broadcast, pro AV tech and satellite communities in the Middle East Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region, marks Benya Group’s first satellite project.
The MoU will facilitate discussions between the parties about telecom infrastructure support and maintenance across the Middle East and Africa, with the aim of delivering fully integrated telecom networks to Benya Group’s clients’ network infrastructure.
