The 5th African School in Fundamental Physics and Applications had applications from over 500 students from Africa and beyond for the Graduate student program holding in the University of Namibia (UNAM), Namibia.

The Pro-Vice Chancellor:Academic Affairs of UNAM, Prof. Frednard Gideon while welcoming students from across Africa to the workshop encouraged the students to network with the aim to learn from each other.

The African School in Fundamental Physics and Applications was established to Increase capacity development in fundamental physics and related applications in Africa. It usually receive applications from a lot of African and international graduate students with the aim to attract the best young physics students from throughout Africa.
