GTTP Announces International Teacher Training Workshop

This is an announcement for the Global Hands-On Universe (GHOU)’s  first Africa Regional Conference Galileo Teacher Training Program (GTTP) – international teacher training workshop, which will take place from 24 to 29 September 2019, hosted by Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco.

The GTTP goal is to create a worldwide network of Galileo ambassadors and Galileo teachers. The Galileo Teachers are equipped to train other teachers in these methodologies, leveraging the work that begun at IYA2009 in classrooms everywhere.

The training workshop will include:

* Moon craters and black holes with SalsaJ
* Planetary Software: Stellarium, Celestia, World Wide Telescopes, Google Earth etc
* Hands-on class activities
