Delegation Of China Great Wall Industry Corporation Visits Angola Space Agency

A delegation from China Great Wall Industry Corporation (CGWIC) yesterday visited the premises of the Department of Space Sciences and Applied Research (DCEPA) of the Angola National Space Program Management Office (GGPEN) to find out and learn about the work of the department, with the aim of identifying partnerships regarding space industry and technology.

Created in 2013 by Presidential Decree No. 154/13 of 9 October, GGPEN aims to manage and monitor the development of the National Space Program, a part of the ANGOSAT Project.

In the exercise of its tasks, GGPEN’s mission is to promote the peaceful use of space, as well as to conduct strategic studies aimed at establishing cooperation agreements with technical and scientific institutions in the space domain, ensuring the creation of national technological and human competences, and the transfer of technology and technical know-how within the framework of the National Space Program.
