ASECNA Releases Notice of Prequalification

The Agency for the Safety of Air Navigation in Africa and Madagascar (ASECNA) is committed to developing and providing satellite reinforcement services (SBAS). This is to improve flight safety and efficiency in Africa and the Indian Ocean region

Consequently, ASECNA plans to apply for funding from the European Union (EU), the French Development Agency (AFD) and other sources for contract payments relating to the “Development, deployment and commissioning of ASECNA’s SBAS system”.

Consequently, ASECNA intends to pre-qualify contractors and companies to perform the work covered by the contract. The Agency expects the launch of notices of invitation to tender in June 2021.
Thus, eligible interested candidates can obtain more information from the ASECNA Studies and Projects Directorate, Almadies, Dakar, Senegal. The time is between 07:30 and 15:30, local time, telephone: +221 33 848 05 10, e-mail: ao*@as****.org.

Furthermore, interested Candidates can purchase a complete set of the Pre-qualification File in French by making a written request to the address indicated below. It must be accompanied by the payment for non-refundable 100,000.00 FCFA (US$ 185).

Applicants are to submit the  Pre-qualification File on-site or electronically. Additionally, the payment method will be in cash.

Applicants are to submit applications for pre-qualification to the Secretariat of the Director of Studies and Projects, Route de la corniche des Almadies near the place of pilgrimage of the Layènes, BP 8163, Dakar-Yoff, Senegal, +221 33 848 05 10.

Furthermore, applicants are to submit applications in sealed envelopes marked “ASECNA/DGDD/DETD/2104/2021 – Pre-qualification application for the contract relating to the “Development, deployment and commissioning of the ASECNA SBAS system”. Lastly, applicants must submit their applications before May 11, 2021, 12:00 p.m., local time.
